I think this might be one of my favourite Klaine numbers. They’re just all… giggly and sexy and fun and so into each other… *le sigh*
Do you want to know how I picture the end of my life? Just like in The Notebook: I’m sitting in a nursing home, talking endlessly about my high school sweetheart; my first love. Only, in my version he’s there with me ♥
To always love you. To defend you even if I know you’re wrong. To surprise you. To always pick up your call no matter what I’m doing. To bake you cookies at least twice a year and to kiss you whenever and where ever you want. Mostly to make sure that you always remember how perfectly imperfect you are.
“I wish I could have you in my bed every night,” Blaine says with a sigh, collapsing back on his bed and watching as Kurt gets undressed. Kurt takes his time, probably more out of soreness from working on and under cars all day than anything else, and Blaine gives him a sweet smile when Kurt catches Blaine staring.
“Blaine.”
“Like you wouldn’t do the same,” Blaine says with a smug grin, reaching out to tug Kurt down onto the bed when Kurt’s down to just his boxer-briefs. He loves staring at Kurt’s torso, at broad shoulders and lean muscle that spend far too much time hiding under clothes, although Blaine’s not about to complain about being the only one who gets to see Kurt like this - bare, pale skin that Blaine loves to kiss and nip at. Maybe the layers aren’t quite so bad.
“And you’re still staring,” Kurt says, rolling his eyes, but Blaine finally manages to get Kurt to fall forward on top of him, his body covering Blaine’s and pressing him into the mattress in a way that never fails to take Blaine’s breath away. He thinks Kurt knows it, too, from the way Kurt’s mouth curves up at the ends as he looks down at Blaine.
“Mmm, that shower earlier felt so good,” Kurt mumbles, and Blaine laughs.
“Do you want me to talk about it for you, Kurt?” Blaine asks, watching Kurt duck his head in annoyance and amusement, pressing warm kisses over Blaine’s bare shoulder. Blaine’s fingers find Kurt’s back, flexing over the strong muscle of Kurt’s shoulders. “Do you want to get off while I talk about hot water and body wash and exfoliating?”
Now that we’ve reached the end of the season and eagerly await the next step in Kurt and Blaine’s journey, The Box Scene presents an interesting, riveting, and moving perspective not only of the relationship of two boys in love, but also of a show and the viewers it serves.
It changes everything.
